In the ancient times the British merchants used to ride on the Nove, and take the boat here. They did business in Bangladesh without leaving here. People of this region can name the area after seeing them in general, Nauthaa. This nautoma was later converted into the name of this area. The river Nautara has flown over this amunechbook.
